Se aborda el análisis de cómo en el discurso y la praxis jurídica colombiana se ha venido apropiando, reinterpretando y consolidando el concepto de dignidad como fundamento de la organización socio-política nacional, que corresponde a una construcción permanente basada, entre otras, en la praxis judicial que ha coadyuvado a comprenderla y desarrollada por los operadores jurídicos, a partir del relato del juez constitucional, que trascienden la simple concepción de la dignidad como categoría polisémica, esto es, referida a derecho, deber, obligación, principio y valor, dada la trascendencia y alcances formales y materiales en el ámbito jurídico y social. Para el estudio, se consideraron los enunciados jurídicos provenientes de la Carta Política colombiana y de fallos de la Corte Constitucional.
The analysis of how the Colombian legal discourse and praxis has been appropriating, reinterpreting and consolidating the concept of dignity as the foundation of the national socio-political organization, which corresponds to a permanent construction based, among others, on legal praxis, is addressed. that has helped to understand it and developed by legal operators, based on the story of the constitutional judge, which transcend the simple conception of dignity as a polysemic category, that is, referring to right, duty, obligation, principle and value, given the significance and formal and material scope in the legal and social sphere. For the study, legal statements from the Colombian Political Charter and rulings of the Constitutional Court were considered.
