    La presente investigación, está orientado al estudio de la discapacidad desde el modelo social en el cual es deber del Estado acentuar las barreras de la población con discapacidad, de tal manera que puedan tener una participación en la sociedad, apoyados en el sustento teórico del modelo social y en la Convención Internacional sobre Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad, se hace necesario revisar la materialización de tales derechos, de tal manera que los mismo sean concretados en acciones de política pública.

    The present investigation is oriented to the study of disability from the social model in which it is the duty of the State to accentuate the barriers of the population with disabilities, in such a way that they can have a participation in society, supported by the theoretical support of the model. and in the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, it is necessary to review the materialization of such rights, in such a way that they are concretized in public policy actions.
