Fines y afectos en la literatura argentina contemporánea. Sobre el fin de la intimidad y el fin del amor

    En el marco de la palpable reactivación de las narrativas de los fines en diferentes ámbitos de la discursividad social contemporánea, que presenta un espacio de convergencia crítica entre las preocupaciones ligadas a los ritmos de la naturaleza y de la cultura (Danowski y Viveiros de Castro, 2019), y considerando los sentidos de los finales en las narrativas ficcionales (Kermode, 2000), este trabajo propone una lectura de las relaciones entre la noción de fin y los afectos que construyen dos textos de la literatura argentina reciente: el relato “Escritor aficionado” incluido en El fin de la intimidad (2017), de Gustavo Pablos y El fin del amor. Querer y coger (2019), de Tamara Tenembaum. El artículo se compone de una introducción que presenta el tema y ofrece un sustento teórico–crítico que fundamenta el análisis de los textos como espacios de recreación y valoración de lo real social. Con base en la idea de que las creaciones literarias refractan el contexto histórico social (Bajtín, 1986; 2003) y en consonancia con el concepto de Williams (2009) de estructuras del sentimiento, retomado por referentes de la teoría crítica de los afectos (Ahmed, 2019; Berlant, 2020), se analiza, en cada uno de los apartados siguientes, cómo cada texto articula sentidos y afectos a la noción de fin en relación con la intimidad y el amor para producir valoraciones específicas del contexto socioafectivo contemporáneo.

    This work is concerned with the tangible reactivation of the narratives of the ends in different areas of contemporary social discourse (Danowski and Viveiros de Castro, 2019), the convergent critical space related to natural and cultural rhythms as well as the meaning of endings in fictional narratives (Kermode, 2000). It thus presents a reading of the relationships between the notion of the end and affects, which are constructed by two recent texts of Argentine literature: the story “Escritor aficionado” included in El fin de la intimidad (2017), by Gustavo Pablos and El fin del amor. Querer y coger (2019),  by  Tamara Tenembaum. The article consists of an introduction that presents the subject and offers theoretical-critical support that grounds the analysis of these texts as spaces for recreation and evaluation of social reality. It is based on the idea that literary creations refract the social-historical context (Bajtin, 1986; 2003) and in line with Williams' (2009) concept of feelings’ structures, taken up by referents of the critical theory of affects (Ahmed, 2019; Berlant, 2020). Finally, it analyzes, in each of the following sections, how each text articulates meanings and affections to the notion of the end in relation to intimacy and love to produce specific assessments of the contemporary socio-affective context.
