El texto literario colombiano en los manuales de español como lengua extranjera: (re)presentaciones, usos y perspectivas

    Esta investigación busca identificar la manera en la cual el texto literario colombiano se utiliza en los manuales de texto para enseñar español como lengua extranjera en Bogotá. Tras consultar veintiún manuales se obtuvo un total de sesenta y una actividades literarias con tan solo dos autores colombianos: Gabriel García Márquez y Jorge Franco. Igualmente, se encuestaron profesores y estudiantes de español como lengua extranjera en Bogotá para conocer el uso que le dan a la literatura colombiana en clase y las perspectivas sobre la aplicación de este tipo de texto como herramienta pedagógica. Tanto estudiantes como profesores concuerdan en que el texto literario resulta motivador y una buena fuente para el aprendizaje de palabras y componentes culturales, pero manifiestan una escasez de material didáctico disponible.

    This research seeks to identify the way in which Colombian literary texts are used in textbooks to teach Spanish as a foreign language in Bogotá. After checking 21 textbooks, a total of 61 literary activities were obtained with only two Colombian authors: Gabriel García Márquez and Jorge Franco. Likewise, teachers and students of Spanish as a foreign language in Bogotá were surveyed to learn about the use they give to Colombian literature in their class and to know more about what they think on the application of this type of text as a pedagogical tool. Both students and teachers agree that the literary text is motivating and a good source for learning new words and cultural components, but they manifest a lack of available teaching material.
