    La protección del patrimonio, la tutela del mismo, es uno de los deberes más esenciales de cualquier Sociedad humana civilizada que entienda que su pasado es parte fundamental del futuro de si misma, y que el presente no se puede entender e interpretar sin el conocimiento patrimonial. También es evidente que este patrimonio histórico, artístico y monumental debe concebirse como parte integrante del tesoro público de cada país, del cual, sin duda, son responsables los órganos competenciales de los distintos Estados, pero también la ciudadanía, la cual debe entender su compromiso con su nación, con sus antepasados y con sus descendientes, por tanto el legado que podamos dejar es parte inherente de nuestra responsabilidad.

    The protection of heritage, its guardianship, is one of the most essential duties of any civilized human society that understands that its past is a fundamental part of its future, and that the present cannot be understood and interpreted without heritage knowledge. It is also evident that this historical, artistic and monumental heritage must be conceived as an integral part of the public treasure of each country, for which, without a doubt, the competent bodies of the different States are responsible, but also the citizens, which must understand their commitment. with his nation, with his ancestors and with his descendants, therefore the legacy that we can leave is an inherent part of our responsibility.
