Resumen de Los inventarios decimonónicos del monasterio de Celanova

A pesar de que los grandes cambios en la arquitectura y bienes muebles del monasterio de Celanova se produjeron fundamentalmente en las edades Medieval y Moderna, ello no supuso que esta abadía hubiese permanecido inalterada desde el siglo XIX hasta la actualidad. Los inventarios realizados como consecuencia de los diversos procesos desamortizadores decimonónicos constituyen documentos que nos permiten conocer la situación de este monasterio y sus posesiones en el momento previo al inicio de las transformaciones operadas en Celanova a partir de la década de 1840. En el presente artículo, se analiza el contexto en el que se realizaron dichos inventarios celanoveses, a la vez que se transcriben fragmentos relevantes de los mismos, custodiados en su mayoría en el Archivo Histórico Provincial de Ourense

Despite the changes in the architecture and movable heritage of the monastery of Celanova took place fundamentally in the Medieval and Modern ages, it did not imply that this abbey had remained unchanged from the 19th century to the present. The inventories carried out as a consequence of the various nineteenth-century disentailment processes constitute documents that allow us to know the situation of this monastery and its possessions at the moment prior to the beginning of the transformations in Celanova since the 1840s. In this paper, it is analyzed the context in which these Celanovese inventories were written, while at the same time relevant fragments of them are transcribed, most of them kept in the Provincial Historical Archive of Ourense
