    El presente artículo se basa en la relación establecida entre el cine y la arquitectura, que es considerada aquí como conexión fundamental en tanto que se constituye como un paradigma de fecundidad compositiva y estética. Partiendo de esta correspondencia proponemos una aproximación a la representación de la arquitectura desde la perspectiva fílmica, concretamente a la producción arquitectónica española desarrollada durante el franquismo, que pudo estar influenciada por el Movimiento Moderno y a su vez recogida en el Noticiario Documental NO-DO, que fue proyectado de manera obligatoria en las salas de cine españolas durante el período referido. De este modo, planteamos otra perspectiva desde la que observar y considerar la arquitectura. Buscamos comprender la imagen arquitectónica con unos valores estéticos e identitarios que han podido influir en la construcción de la memoria e imaginario colectivo, así como en la apreciación y valoración que la sociedad ha podido elaborar sobre su patrimonio arquitectónico moderno desde la perspectiva fílmica.

    This paper is based on the relationship established between cinematography and architecture, which is considered a fundamental connection insofar as it is constituted as a paradigm of compositional and aesthetic fecundity. Starting from this correspondence, we propose an approach to the representation of architecture from a filmic perspective. In particular, we refer to the Spanish architectural production developed during the Franco regime, which could have been influenced by the Modern Movement and could have been collected in the NO-DO Documentary Newsreel. This cinematographic newsreel was the official means of communication of the regime, its obligatory projection before the films shown in Spanish cinemas began in 1943 and continued until 1975, which indicates that we are dealing with a fundamental device of the visual culture of Franco's regime. In this medium, we seek to find architectural examples that may have reflected the Modern Movement in Spain from 1950, a date that indicates the beginning of a certain openness in the regime when the veto on Spain was lifted by the UN, until 1965, the final date established by DoCoMoMo Ibérico for the recording of examples of modern architecture. We propose to approach the projection of the architectural image in this omnipresent newsreel of Spanish life and to analyze how its aesthetic and identity values are reflected from a filmic perspective.
