  • This article analyzes the ideological background reflected on the visual artifacts used by Cuarón on the film Roma. It is analyzed principally the long-take and the wide shots, as well as the use of the photography in black and white. I am discussing here how this visual elements are problematic in relation to the representation that Cuarón claims to make of the race, gender and the historical events
