  • The Late Viséan to Early Namurian alga Pseudodonezella tenuissima (Berchenko 1982) and the exceptionally well preserved Late Viséan dasyclad alga Eovelebitella occitanica Vachard 1974 are described from the Malaguide nappe, Betic Cordillera, southern Spain. They derive from limestone boulders of lowermost Namurian conglomerates and post-lower Bashkirian conglomerates and debris flow deposits. (Retamares Member of Almogía Formation, and Marbella Formation, respectively).
