    Este artículo parte de un enfoque crítico de sociología del conocimiento para mostrar la manera cómo diferentes tendencias epistemológicas que emergieron a finales del siglo XX, especialmente en las ciencias sociales y las humanidades, han permitido ampliar los horizontes de reflexión sobre el derecho. En tal sentido, el texto deja ver cómo los enfoques construccionistas, feministas y del sur global, han contribuido a trazar nuevas rutas de pensamiento sobre el derecho, de manera que su estudio no se restringe a la descripción y análisis de las normas y las estructuras normativas estatales, sino que se entiende como una construcción social, histórica y cultural relacionada con contextos sociales, discursos, relaciones de poder, subjetividades, representaciones y prácticas sociales.

    This article draws on a critical approach on sociology of knowledge to show the way diverse epistemological trends that emerged by the end of XXth century, mainly on social sciences and humanities, have allowed widening legal thought. In this regard, the text argues that constructionists, feminists, and critical epistemological approaches from the south have contributed to design new routes of legal thinking. In this perspective, legal thought does not restrict to description and analysis of norms or state legal structures, but rather it ought to conceive law as a social, historical, and cultural construction related to social contexts, discourses, power relations, subjectivities, representations and practices.
