    En el cementerio general de Campeche a lo largo de sus doscientos años han sido inhumados personajes que han dejado lustre en la historia regional, dentro de este panorama resulta interesante mencionar que tal necrópolis ha sido la última morada de proceres que han sido declarados beneméritos del Estado. De tal manera que este trabajo tiene por objetivo proporcionar un panorama general de información biográfica, social y política de los proceres campechanos que se encuentran inhumados en el cementerio general así también los que posteriormente fueron exhumados. Para sustentar este trabajo se toman dos fuentes de primera mano. En primer lugar, los registros parroquiales del Archivo Histórico del Sagrario Catedral, por otra parte, se consideraron pertinentes analizar el Periódico Oficial del Estado con el fin de recopilar información de tinte político sobre los personajes abordados en el texto.

    In the general cemetery of Campeche throughout its two hundred years, characters have been buried who have left a mark on regional history, within this panorama it is interesting to mention that such a necropolis has been the last abode of heroes who have been declared worthy of the State. In such a way that this work aims to provide an overview of biographical, social, and political information of the heroes of Campeche who are buried in the general cemetery as well as those who were later exhumed. To support this work, two first-hand sources are taken. In the first place, the parish records of the Historical Archive of the Cathedral Tabernacle, on the other hand, it was considered pertinent to analyze the Official State Newspaper to collect political information about the characters in the text.
