  • Acanthotheelia jordanica n. sp. from conodont-bearing Pelsonian sediments of Jordan is the oldest hitherto known Acanthotheelia species. It is homeomorph to A. mocki Kozur, 1985 from the Cordevolian of Spain, which is, however, considerably smaller and has shorter spokes.
