Resumen de Palaeocene larger foraminifera from southern Tibet
Thirty-one species of larger foraminifera belonging to nine genera are described and figured from the Palaeocene of the Gamba and Tingri regions of southern Tibet. Seventeen of them were found in the Jidula and the lower unit of the Zongpu Formations which are of Lower Palaeocene age. Fourteen are from the upper unit of the Zongpu Formation which is of Upper Palaeocene age. Aberisphaera gambanica gen, et sp. nov. is described and illustrated.
