V-finales s. Ibérico Final (siglos III–I a.
“El Torrejón de Gátova” is a crucial archaeological site for the communications between the interior regions of Camp de Túria, Alto Palancia and part of Serranía. Seven archaeological seasons have been carried out in the site from 2015 to 2022. The archaeological research has established four chronological phases: The oldest period belongs to the Ancient Iron – Orientalizing timeframe (first half of the 6th century BC). A funerary enclosure with cremations from this period has been located. The next period is framed in Ancient Iberian time (end of the 6th - end of the 5th century BC), when the first settlement arises. The third one period is the so-called Plenary Iberian (5th-late 3rd c. BC). The central street is preserved and the defensive system is reinforced during this span. Finally the Final Iberian period (3rd - 1st centuries BC). A related to the Sertorius War military storehouse was constructed in this phase. Evidence of metallurgical activity during the later period was also found
