La finalidad de María Zambrano fue siempre retomar para el pensamiento todo aquello que está en la poesía desde los orígenes de la humanidad, todo cuanto está en la vida y de lo que no trata la ciencia. Sus temas fueron el amor, la muerte y el padecer humano. De este modo, la filósofa reivindicó desde muy joven su irrenunciable vocación filosófica de pensar a partir de un logos que denominó razón poética. Con ello buscó otra forma de pensar que no fuera ni la teoría ni el sistema, en donde el pensamiento tuviera la mínima abstracción y generalidad. Se decantó por un tipo de saber fragmentario que no sistematice ni categorice la vida, defendiendo y legitimando la capacidad cognitiva del saber experiencial que se encuentra en los géneros literarios donde predominan las analogías, las imágenes y las metáforas. El artículo presenta el pensamiento zambraniano vinculado a la epistemología, la ética y la estética y aborda la posibilidad de una pedagogía de lo simbólico que encuentra en la sensibilidad y la poesía el poder de configurar un horizonte humano esperanzador.

The objective of María Zambrano was always to reclaim for thought what had been considered, since the origins of humanity, as poetry: all that exists in life and that is not addressed by science. Her themes were love, death, and human suffering. Thus, the philosopher vindicated early on her uncompromising philosophical calling to think on the basis of a logos that she termed poetic reason. With this, she sought a different way of thinking that was neither theory nor system, where thought could have minimal abstraction and generality. She opted for a form of fragmentary knowledge that did not systematise or categorise life, defending and legitimising the cognitive capacity of experiential knowledge found in literary writing where analogy, imagery, and metaphor predominate. The article presents Zambrano's thought in its connections with epistemology, ethics, and aesthetics. It addresses the possibility of a symbolic pedagogy that finds in sensibility and poetry the power to configure a horizon of human hope.
