Pero cada uno tuvo su propio asidero: sus clásicos. En su relación amistosa, que se dilató veinte años, solo hubo afinidad, comprensión y apoyo. María Zambrano and Alfonso Reyes are two thinkers with universal features. Each one of them chose their course and they did what they wanted most: think, reflect, write, seeing their books being published. Their paths were not exempt from difficulties. Nevertheless, they had their own foundation: their classics. In their friendly relationship, which lasted twenty years, there was only affinity, understanding and support. It is an example of intellectual work and their commitment to the world.
