    Considerando la importancia de la calidad de la educación y el desarrollo de las capacidades de creación de conocimiento en las diferentes áreas del saber, hemos considerado importante analizar el Currículum de Matemáticas del Nivel Medio, Bachillerato Científico en el Paraguay, el mencionado trabajo se realizó en el marco de la cátedra Currículum y Evaluación de la Práctica docente en Matemáticas del Programa de Postgrado Maestría en Didáctica de las Matemáticas de la Universidad Nacional de Itapúa, tomando como fuente la actualización Curricular del Bachillerato Científico de la Educación Media y el Programa de estudio del Nivel Medio, Plan Común, y la entrevista a expertos, utilizando una metodología cualitativa. Por lo que ponemos a consideración de la comunidad educativa del país, como aporte al proceso de transformación educativa, teniendo en cuenta que las sugerencias vertidas permitirían tomar decisiones para hacer frente a los vertiginosos cambios a los que nos enfrentamos.

    Considering the importance of the quality of education and the development of knowledge creation competences in different fields of knowledge, we have considered important to analyze the Mathematics Curriculum, Scientific Baccalaureate in Middle Education Level in Paraguay. This study was carried out in the context of the Curriculum and Evaluation of Teaching Practice in Mathematics in the Postgraduate Program Master's Degree in Didactics of Mathematics at the National University of Itapúa, taking as a source the Curriculum update of the Scientific Baccalaureate of Secondary Education and the Study Program of the Medium Level, Common Plan, and interviews with experts, through a qualitative methodology. Therefore, we present to the educational community of the country, as a contribution to the process of educational transformation, considering that the suggestions introduced would grant decisions to be made to face the vertiginous renovations that we face.
