  • Resumen
    • The restudy of the distinctive characters of genera Vanderbeekia, Iranites and Neumannites confirm their validity, The test is planispiral involute in the genus Iranites. It is trochospiral on ventral side in other genera. They show the presence of lateral chambers on the walls or between the walls of the successive whorls and on dorsal side. The genus Vanderbeekia is the only one with a single layer of equatorial chambers. The description of genus Sirtina should be revised if we consider the figures and the type description of the genus. We suggeste to put these genera, belonging to family ROTALIDAE, in a new subfamily NEUMANNITINAE,. These genera have been observed in Campanian-Maastrichtian deposits.
