Resumen de Diagnóstico y tratamiento de la verruga vulgar en la cavidad bucal de personas adultas

  Objetivo: Analizar el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la verruga vulgar en la cavidad bucal de personas adultas. Método: Revisión sistemática de la literatura. Conclusión: Su diagnóstico se realiza mediante un examen clínico, en la cual se observa la morfología y ubicación de la lesión dentro de la cavidad oral y posteriormente deberá estar acompañado de un examen histopatológico e inmunohistoquímico, por medio de los cuales se podrá observar el tipo de tejido y patrón histológico de la verruga. Una vez diagnosticada la lesión, esta puede solucionarse con diversos tratamientos mediante método físicos o químicos, todos se basa en la destrucción del tejido donde se encuentra la lesión.

  Objective: To analyze the diagnosis and treatment of verruca vulgaris in the oral cavity of adults. Method: Systematic review of the literature. Conclusion: Its diagnosis is made by clinical examination, in which the morphology and location of the lesion within the oral cavity is observed and then it must be accompanied by a histopathological and immunohistochemical examination, by means of which the type of tissue and histological pattern of the wart can be observed. Once the lesion is diagnosed, it can be solved with various treatments by physical or chemical methods, all of which are based on the destruction of the tissue where the lesion is located.
