  • Resumen
    • Objective: Describe the prevalence of anemia in infants under 6 months of age. Method: The research was carried out based on the scientific articles PIANE-2018-2025 based on the intersectoral plan for food and nutrition in Ecuador (2018-2025). Results and conclusions: The results of this study allowed us to conclude that the prevalence of anemia in children from 0 to 11 months of age, varied the standard used to detect anemia, in Chorocopte it was 6.10% in case of mild anemia and in the Quilloac operating room it was 5.30% in cases of mild anemia, with a total of 19 children, from 0 to 11 months of age. There was a statistically significant association between anemia and childhood age and anemia and water consumption from cow's milk. Nursing practice is an area where the development of these attributes can be exemplary.
