This essay aims at deepening the relevance of the principle of sustainable development in order to promote and preserve the wealth of the future generations.
It is a principle which has gained increasing recognition at international and European level and which is known to have its place in the protection of the environment and natural resources. It is with this in mind that it is possible to see the definition of a new concept of market economy, which goes beyond the linear dimension and aims to encourage the adoption of measures to support the transition to a circular economic model. The search for a synthesis between economic growth, efficiency and sustainability requires, in any case, the maturation of a new awareness and the provision of tools that allow the participation of public actors, citizens and stakeholders in the creation of an innovative system of sustainable production and conscious consumption.
