This contribution analyzes the protection of children in armed conflicts from International Law and especially from the contribution of the ICC, in order to find out if these measures are sufficient or what strategy should be put in place to try to eradicate this practice. For the international community as a whole, it is a duty and a need to intervene in this area. Children not only have personal and inalienable rights, like all people, but they are a particularly vulnerable and unprotected group and from an intergenerational perspective, representing the future, they should be a priority.
