    En este artículo se analiza la idea de Dios en el poemario de Gabriela Mistral, Ternura, en relación con los tres núcleos temáticos de la obra: maternidad, infancia y naturaleza. La canción de cuna esconde una oración ante la maternidad como límite existencial (de soledad y abismo), el corro infantil presenta lo divino en la sencillez y la felicidad, y la naturaleza continúa con el tópico Liber Naturae y se nutre de la estética franciscana

    In this article the idea of God will be analysed throughout the book of poems, Ternura, in relation to its main themes: motherhood, childhood and nature. The lullaby hides the praise of the mother dealing with the loneliness and existential fear. The nursery rhymes present the divinity as sensibility and happiness. Nature is described as in Liber Naturae literary topic and it nourishes from Franciscan aesthetic theology
