    En el siguiente trabajo nos aproximamos al Tabernáculo o Custodia del Escorial, alhaja y obra fundamental del monasterio, en sentido artístico y alegórico. Por su categoría material y significación emblemática creemos que no solamente se convierte en el centro espiritual del edificio, sino que es la pieza clave que ayuda a comprender la persona del rey fundador.

      Desde un punto de vita analógico puede ser considerado como raíz y símbolo que explica la idea de Monarquía Católica consolidada por Felipe II y que heredaron y mantuvieron los monarcas del Seiscientos.

    In this work we approach the Tabernacle of the Escorial, which is a jewel and essential work of the monastery, both in an artistic and allegorical sense. Due to its material category and emblematic significance, we believe that it not only becomes the spiritual center of the monastery itself, but that it is the key element that helps to understand the founding king.

      From an analogical point of view, it can be considered as a root and symbol that explains the idea of ​​the Catholic Monarchy consolidated by Felipe II, which was inherited and maintained by the monarchs of the 16th century.
