International organizations have repeatedly adopted legal instruments in conventions to prevent and combat this global problem. In this regard, according to international studies and reports, Latin America is not isolated from acts of corruption between government officials and individuals or legal entities, to a high degree. Thus, Paraguay is not exempt from this practice. In this context, several international conventions have been ratified and are in force in the legal system, therefore, it is necessary to analyze the responsibility of natural and legal persons for the commission of acts of corruption, in order to know the weaknesses and how to work on them. For this purpose, a bibliographic research was carried out, through which the norms in force and recognized by the National Constitution were reviewed, analyzed and compared, as well as those typified in the Penal Code or laws ratifying international treaties. Likewise, official platforms of the institutions related to the subject until the year 2022 were used. The approach is qualitative and the design is non-experimental.
