Resumen de La 5G y su incidencia en la Educación Superior: Revisión sistemática

  Los modelos actuales de formación asistidos por computadoras en la Educación Superior han marcado el inicio de la transformación digital. La educación a distancia y los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizajes utilizados en la Educación Superior han permitido impartir diferentes materias a distancias. Sin embargo, el avance vertiginoso de las tecnologías impone nuevos retos para lograr trasformar los modelos de enseñanza basados en tecnologías donde las telecomunicaciones representan un papel protagónico. La presente investigación realiza una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica para determinar la incidencia de la tecnología 5G en la Educación Superior. El diseño de estudio de la investigación fue revisión documental. Se realizó la búsqueda de artículos científicos en las bases de datos IEEExplore, ACM Digital library, SpringerLink y Elsevier. Entre los criterios de inclusión están artículos de diferentes países publicados en español, inglés. Se excluyeron artículos que no tenían relación con el tema, artículos no arbitrados, así como también artículos publicados antes de 2017. La RSL permitió identificar que aunque la infraestructura tecnológica y la disponibilidad de recursos de las Instituciones de la Educación Superior no son suficientes, la adopción de las redes 5G traerían grandes beneficios para aumentar el aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes, y consolidar las habilidades prácticas que necesitan para incorporarse al sector laboral.

  The current models of computer-assisted training in Higher Education have marked the beginning of the digital transformation. Distance education and Virtual Learning Environments used in Higher Education have made it possible to teach different subjects at a distance. However, the vertiginous advance of technologies imposes new challenges to transform teaching models based on technologies where telecommunications play a leading role. This research carries out a systematic review of the scientific literature to determine the incidence of 5G technology in Higher Education. The research study design was documentary review. The search for scientific articles was carried out in the IEEExplore, ACM Digital library, SpringerLink and Elsevier databases. Among the inclusion criteria are articles from different countries published in Spanish, English. Articles that were not related to the topic, non-refereed articles, as well as articles published before 2017 were excluded. The RSL made it possible to identify that although the technological infrastructure and the availability of resources of Higher Education Institutions are not sufficient, the adoption of 5G networks would bring great benefits to increase the meaningful learning of students, and consolidate the practical skills they need. to enter the workforce.
