Resumen de Gestión de la información para la implementación de la Norma Internacional de Contabilidad 16 Propiedades, Planta y Equipo en el tratamiento contable

  Actualmente en un mundo globalizado las actividades empresariales necesitan mostrar una visualización estandarizada de la información que presentan, y de esa manera tener un punto de partida para realizar análisis que aporten un valor agregado a los usuarios de la información. Ecuador no fue la excepción, y se presentó la oportunidad de adoptar la estandarización; sin embargo, no se consideró de una manera obligatoria a las Sociedades sin fines de Lucro. Se realizó un análisis de la Fundación Proyecto Salesiano Chicos de la Calle, y se encontró la oportunidad de focalizar esta investigación en las deficiencias que posee la Fundación en el tratamiento contable de la Propiedad, Planta y Equipo. Para el enfoque del manejo de la Propiedad, planta y equipo según la normativa es necesario basarse en las Normas Internacionales Contables 16 y 36 las mismas que dan el lineamiento para el tratamiento de los elementos que componen la cuenta. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo realizar una evaluación Gestión de la información para la implementación de la Norma Internacional de Contabilidad 16 Propiedades, Planta y Equipo en el tratamiento contable.

  Currently, in a globalized world, business activities need to show a standardized display of the information they present and thus have a starting point to carry out analyzes that provide added value to the users of the information. In Ecuador it was not the exception and the opportunity to adopt the standardization presented itself; however, Non-Profit Societies were not considered mandatory. Carrying out an analysis of the Fundación Proyecto Salesiano Chicos de la Calle, we found the opportunity to focus the thesis work on the deficiencies that the Foundation has in the accounting treatment of Property, Plant and Equipment. For the approach to the management of Property, plant and equipment according to the regulations, it is necessary to base it on International Accounting Standards 16 and 36, the same ones that give the guidelines for the treatment of the elements that make up the account. The objective of this investigation is to carry out an evaluation of Information Management for the implementation of the International Accounting Standard 16 Properties, Plant and Equipment in the accounting treatment.
