    Las palabras de Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) “Es necesario vivir sencillamente para que otros puedan, sencillamente, vivir. Gandhi” hoy en día cobran más sentido que nunca. El ritmo frenético de la vida cotidiana del ser humano ha hecho que, por más tiempo del que se debía, se deje de lado el principio básico de cuidar del ambiente que nos rodea. Hasta hace poco, el ser humano no ha sido consciente del irreversible cambio climático que el planeta está sufriendo, que aun siendo un proceso pausado, sus consecuencias ya son visibles.

    La constante alerta de los científicos en relación a los alarmantes niveles de contaminación alcanzados, ha hecho que desde finales del Siglo XX se fomenten las iniciativas para el cuidado del planeta Tierra. Tanto a escala mundial, como a escala europea y estatal, la firma de estrategias y proyectos en materia de medio ambiente ha ido en aumento, haciendo posible creer en un cambio favorable.

    The words of Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) "It is necessary to live simply so that others can simply live. Gandhi" today make more sense than ever. The hectic pace of everyday life of the human being has meant that for more time than you should, leave aside the basic principle of caring for the environment that surrounds us. Until recently, the human being has not been aware of the irreversible climate change that the planet is experiencing, which even being a paused process, its consequences are already visible. The constant alert of the scientists in relation to the alarming levels of contamination achieved, has made since the end of the twentieth century to encourage initiatives for the care of the planet Earth. Both on a global scale, as at European level and state, the signing of strategies and projects in the field of the environment has been increasing, making it possible to believe in a favorable change.
