    El treball presenta la situació de la família Quetglas i Prats a finals del segle XIX a Inca, la realitat escolar que es vivia a la ciutat, com també la del Seminari Diocesà després de les convulsions revolucionàries del s. XIX. Fou ordenat prevere i feu les primeres passes en el ministeri sacerdotal sota el guiatge de Mn. Francesc Mir i Pou, i de Mn. Bartomeu Pascual i Marroig. El 1912 guanyà les oposicions a canongia i es convertí en el canonge prefecte de litúrgia de la catedral. Fou professor de Teologia Litúrgica del Seminari de Mallorca des de 1912. Va publicar multitud d’escrits a publicacions locals, així com articles a revistes religioses o eclesiàstiques.

    This paper presents the situation of the Quetglas i Prats family at the end of the 19th century in Inca, the school reality that Inca lived, as well as that of the Diocesan Seminary after the revolutionary convulsions of the s. XIX. He was ordained a priest and took his first steps in the priestly ministry under the guidance of Mn. Francesc Mir i Pou and Mn. Bartomeu Pascual i Marroig. In 1912 he won the examinations for the canonry and became the prefect of the liturgy of the cathedral. He has been a professor of Liturgical Theology at the Seminary of Mallorca since 1912. He has published many writings in local publications as well as articles in religious or ecclesiastical journals.
