  Nascuda a principis de segle XX, a Inca, essent la petita de cinc germans, la vida de Jerònima Ferrer destaca per l’esforç i l’esperit de superació que demostrà en tot moment. Decidida a dur endavant la seva vocació, no dubta a sortir de Mallorca l’any 1939, just acabada la Guerra Civil, per estudiar a la Universitat de Valladolid. En tornar amb el títol de comare, exercí com a tal durant més de 40 anys.

  Born in the beginning of the 20th century, in Inca, being the youngest of 5 siblings, the life of Jerònima Ferrer stands out for the effort and spirit of achievement she showed at all times. Determined to pursue her vocation, she did not hesitate to leave Mallorca in 1939, just after the end of the civil war, to study at the University of Valladolid. After returning with the degree of midwife, she practiced it for over 40 years
