  Pere Pau Capó Cantallops va ser el darrer batle que tengué la ciutat d'Inca en l’etapa de la II República. Per això mateix va ser víctima, com moltes altres persones, de la repressió institucionalitzada en què esdevingué bona part de la vida política, social, econòmica i cultural a partir del cop d’estat de juliol de 1936. La seva figura política i humanista és prou interessant perquè revisem la seva vida. Totes les paraules que anirem embastant seran en la seva memòria.

  Pere Pau Capó Cantallops was the last mayor of the city of Inca during the Second Republic. That is why he was a victim, like many others, of the institutionalized repression in which he became much of the political, social, economic and cultural life from the coup of July 1936. His political and humanist figure is interesting enough for us to review his life. All the words we will be embracing will be in his memory.
