Resumen de Ninfa em transe: fúria, vingança e morte de Diadorim

  This article aims to bring the figure of Diadorim closer to that of the Nymph, as thought by the German art historian Aby Warburg. More specifically, from the tragic connection of desire, violence and death, we approach Diadorim with that which Georges Didi-Huberman called in a recent study the Ninfa dolorosa, thinking of the images of lamentation and imprecation, of pain and revolt, and even of just revenge that, beside memory, moves the constellation of images that weaves Riobaldo’s story. From this approach that exists as a fold from one figure to another, we seek to think of the Grande Sertão: Veredas as a nymphic book, that is, a book wich nature (demonic) is of Nymph, and the configuration in the work of what we call a “poetic of the image” that knows no end or beginning, only the infinite flow of the crossing

  Este artigo tem como objetivo aproximar a figura de Diadorim daquela da Ninfa, tal como pensada pelo historiador da arte alemão Aby Warburg. Mais especificamente, a partir do trágico enlace de desejo, violência e morte, aproximamos Diadorim daquela que Georges Didi-Huberman chamou em recente estudo a Ninfa dolorosa, pensando nas imagens de lamento e imprecação, de dor e revolta, e mesmo na justa vingança que, ao lado da memória, move a constelação de imagens que tece a narração de Riobaldo. A partir dessa aproximação que existe como dobra de uma figura na outra, buscamos pensar o Grande Sertão: Veredas como um livro nínfico, ou seja, um livro cuja natureza (demoníaca) é de Ninfa, e a configuração na obra daquilo que chamamos uma “poética da imagem” que não conhece fim ou início, apenas o fluxo infinito da travessia.
