Resumen de Bashert: um poema de Irena Klepfisz

This article aims to present the translation of some texts by Irena Klepfisz (1941-), Jewish and lesbian poet, born in the Warsaw ghetto. Furthermore, it discusses the presence of Yiddish in the Irena’s works. The translation helps to make Klepfisz better known in order to increase our understanding about the history of LGBTQIA+ movement, and contribute to theoretical debates involving topics such as mother tongue, sexuality and historical memory

Este artigo apresenta a tradução de alguns textos de Irena Klepfisz (1941-), poeta judia e lésbica, nascida no gueto de Varsóvia. Além disso, discute a presença do íidiche nas obras da poeta. A tradução tem o objetivo de ajudar a divulgar a obra dessa escritora tão significativa para o movimento LGBTQIA+ e contribuir para os debates teóricos envolvendo questões como a língua materna, a sexualidade e a memória histórica
