    Este trabajo parte de la consideración de importantes analogías entre el Castillode Zisa de Palermo [1] e [9] y un ejemplo de similar belleza artística y similaresproblemas de gestión turístico-patrimonial: el Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos deCórdoba [4]. La idea es realizar un estudio comparativo entre ambos sitios conel fin de mejorar la gestión del turismo cultural en el primer recurso patrimonialmencionado, partiendo igualmente de los antecedentes de investigación sobre lagestión del turismo cultural y patrimonial en las ciudades histórico-artísticas europeas, y partiendo, asimismo, de la hipótesis de que el turismo contemporáneono se siente atraído por el patrimonio cultural en sí mismo, sino por los productosculturales organizados en torno a él y estructurados como atractivos turísticos convalor añadido y una gestión adecuada y sostenible. Para estos dos sitios no existenantecedentes de investigación y análisis sobre su gestión turística y cultural ysu sostenibilidad, capacidad de carga turística, problemas de conservación, etc..Mediante el estudio de proyectos realizados y la consulta a expertos y gestoresdel patrimonio y el turismo, implicados en la gestión de los dos lugares elegidos,se pretende alcanzar el objetivo de mejorar la gestión turística de estos recursospatrimoniales.

    This work is based on the consideration of important analogies between the ZisaCastle in Palermo [1] e [9] and an example of similar artistic beauty and similarproblems of heritage tourism management: the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchsin Cordoba [4]. The idea is to carry out a comparative study between the two sitesin order to improve the management of cultural tourism in the first mentionedheritage resource, also starting from the research background on the managementof cultural and heritage tourism in European historical-artistic cities, andalso starting from the hypothesis that contemporary tourism is not attracted bycultural heritage in itself, but by the cultural products organised around it and structured as tourist attractions with added value and appropriate and sustainablemanagement. For these two sites, there is no research and analysis of their tourismand cultural management and their sustainability, tourist carrying capacity,conservation problems, etc... Through the study of projects carried out and theconsultation of experts and heritage and tourism managers involved in the managementof the two chosen sites, the aim is to achieve the objective of improvingthe tourism management of these heritage resources.
