Acontecimentos apropriativos e redução ontológica em termos de modo de ser, atividade e produto: tecendo conexões entre a Atenas de Platão e a América de Waman Puma

    In this effort, we will take two fundamental aspects of Heidegger's ontology – namely, the understanding of event as something intrinsically marked by an appropriating character and Dasein as a way of being appropriative par excellence – as the guiding thread of an interpretive analysis that will present critical historical events as exemplary symptoms of their remarkable validity and the strong endorsement of their generality in the historical construction of the West. Concretely, we will deal with two historical events directly linked to weaving: on the one hand, the appropriation of fabric production in Andean America, according to the picto-historiographic documentation by Waman Puma and the hermeneutical guidelines of the Sociología de la Imagen by Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui; and, on the other hand, the appropriation of images of weaving in the descriptive and evaluative construction of the notion of statesman as opposed to sophist in the Platonic dialogues Sophist and Statesman. As a conclusion, we claim that, of the three fundamental categories for the presented analysis – namely, way of being, activity and product – the one that is relegated to the lowest degree of visibility in the different appropriative dynamics examined that characterize different socio-historical regions of the West, the way of being, is exactly the one whose devaluation is inevitable and indispensable for its occurrence; and that this demonstrates the character of gender oppression inherent in the analyzed phenomena.

    Neste esforço, dois aspectos fundamentais da ontologia heideggeriana -- a saber, a compreensão de evento como algo intrinsecamente marcado por um caráter apropriador e do Dasein como modo de ser apropriativo por excelência -- serão usados como fio condutor de uma análise interpretativa que buscará evidenciar eventos históricos críticos como sintomas exemplares de sua notável vigência e do ferrenho endosso de sua generalidade na construção histórica do Ocidente. Concretamente, trataremos de dois eventos históricos diretamente ligados à tecelagem: de um lado, a apropriação da produção de tecidos na América Andina, segundo a documentação picto-historiográfica de Waman Puma e as diretrizes hermenêuticas da Sociología de la Imagen de Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui; e, de outro, a apropriação das imagens da tecelagem na construção descritiva e valorativa das noção de político em oposição à de sofista nos diálogos platônicos Sofista e Político. Como conclusão, alegamos que, das três categorias fundamentais para a análise apresentada -- a saber, modo de ser, atividade e produto -- aquela que é relegada ao menor grau de visibilidade nas distintas dinâmicas apropriativas examinadas que caracterizam diferentes regiões sócio-históricas do Ocidente, o modo de ser, é exatamente aquela cuja desvalorização é inevitável e indispensável para a sua ocorrência; e que isso elucida e explicita o caráter de opressão de gênero inerente aos fenômenos analisados.
