Resumen de La imagen de la posverdad en el OED y en el DLE: Análisis léxico-lógico y síntesis hermenéutica

Este trabajo no es el habitual trabajo sobre la posverdad. No se expone aquí su peligro y cómo evitarlo, presuponiendo que hay un concepto unívoco de posverdad. Por el contrario, el trabajo ensaya cuestionar la noción misma de posverdad. El procedimiento consiste en un análisis léxico-lógico y una síntesis hermenéutica de las definiciones de “posverdad” de los diccionarios más emblemáticos de la lengua inglesa y de la lengua española. Se estudia, primero, la razón pura sin emociones del OED, y, segundo, el intacto realismo naíf del DLE. Se concluye que la distinción entre verdad y posverdad es retórico-pragmática no ontológica.

This is not the usual work on post-truth. It does not expose, assuming that there is a univocal concept of post-truth, how to avoid its danger. On the contrary, the paper attempts to question the very notion of post-truth. The procedure consists of a lexical-logical analysis and a hermeneutic synthesis of the definitions of "post-truth" in the most emblematic dictionaries of the English and Spanish languages. It studies, first, the unemotional pure reason of the OED, and, second, the naive intact realism of the DLE. The main conclusion is that the distinction between truth and post-truth is rhetorical-pragmatic, not ontological.
