    El presente trabajo tiene por objeto dar a conocer y poner a disposición de los investigadores un conjunto de documentos que hace muchos años tuvimos la oportunidad de comprar en una librería de viejo en Madrid y que hasta ahora han estado traspapelados. Todos se refieren a la frontera entre España y Portugal en la provincia de Ourense, y algunos en particular al Couto Mixto, y son anteriores al tratado de límites de Lisboa de 1846.

    The purpose of this work is to make known and make available to researchers a set of documents that many years ago we had the opportunity to buy in a second-hand bookstore in Madrid and that until now have been misplaced. All refer to the border between Spain and Portugal in the province of Ourense, and some in particular to the Couto Mixto, and predate the 1846 Lisbon boundary treaty
