    A igrexa ourensá de Santa Eufemia do Centro, levantada pola Compañía de Xesús, alberga un singular conxunto de bens mobles, entre eles pezas de pintura, imaxinaría e retablística. O obxectivo deste artigo é contextualizar e comprender mellor os valores destes bens, así como contribuír á súa difusión e salvagarda. Para isto medimos, fotografamos e realizamos unha atenta análise visual de cada peza; compilamos achegas bibliográficas e documentais fundamentalmente do arquivo parroquial e dos arquivos diocesano e provincial de Ourense; e organizamos os datos coas nosas deducións en sinxelas fichas de catálogo. Así comprobamos como se manifesta a presenza xesuítica, a realidade parroquial e as tendencias relixiosas e sociais de cada época no patrimonio moble dunha das igrexas más emblemáticas da cidade de Ourense

    The church of Santa Eufemia do Centro in Ourense, built by the Society of Jesus, houses a unique set of movable property, including paintings, sculptures and altarpieces. The aim of this article is to contextualize and better understand the values of these assets, as well as to contribute to their dissemination and safeguarding. To do so we measured, photographed and carried out a careful visual analysis of each piece; we collected bibliographical and documentary contributions mainly from the parish archive and the diocesan and provincial archives of Ourense; and we organize the data with our deductions in simple catalog sheets.

    This is how we see how the Jesuit presence, the parish reality, and the religious and social trends of each era are manifested in the movable heritage of one of the most emblematic churches of the city of Ourense.
