Los hospitales militares de la Guerra Civil como potenciales lugares de memoria Durante la guerra civil española, ambos bandos desarrollaron un gran sistema sanitario constituido por una red efectiva de hospitales. Estos fueron testigos de los acontecimientos de la guerra y de las vivencias de sus protagonistas, creándose y consolidándose Memoria. Sin embargo, la mayoría de estos hospitales desaparecieron después de la guerra, suponiendo el olvido de su papel. En los casos más extremos, el propio edificio ha desaparecido. Esta comunicación pretende reivindicar y justificar el papel de los hospitales militares como lugares de memoria democrática. Al mismo tiempo, busca poner en valor los diferentes tipos de patrimonio que existe en ellos y establecer propuestas para su protección, divulgación y difusión.

During the Spanish Civil War, both sides developed a large healthcare system consisting of an effective network of hospitals. They witnessed the events of the war and the experiences of its protagonists, creating and consolidating Memory. However, most of these hospitals disappeared after the war, meaning that their role was forgotten. In the most extreme cases, the building itself has disappeared. This paper aims to vindicate and justify the role of military hospitals as places of democratic memory. At the same time, it seeks to highlight the different types of heritage that exist in them and to establish proposals for their protection, dissemination and diffusion.
