Resumen de Teses e dissertações em Sociolinguística e Onomástica no PPGL: legado e vínculos

  The articulation of the theses and dissertations defended among themselves and in relation to the mission and purposes of the Graduate Program in Literature and Linguistics of Western Paraná State University, Unioeste (PPGL) is one of the evaluation parameters of the Brazilian graduate program used by CAPES. The objective of this article is to highlight how the studies defended from 2006 to 2022 in the areas of Sociolinguistics and Onomastics are related to the mission of the PPGL and to the lines of research “Language: linguistic, cultural and teaching practices" and "Study and description of linguistic, cultural and diversity phenomena". To achieve this objective, a systematic literature review was carried out through which 28 abstracts of theses and dissertations were selected. The terms present in the abstracts were analyzed qualitatively. The following textual clues were considered as indications of linkage: usage of the same term or set of terms in different abstracts and/or use of terms used in the texts of mission description and objectives of the Program and/or in the description of the lines and abstracts. The terminological analysis undertaken showed the link of most research to the mission of the PPGL focused on the academic, scientific, technological, and cultural development of the regions covered by the institution, considering linguistic, literary, cultural, and teaching phenomena and both lines of research. The existence of recurrence of terms used in the description of the mission and the description of the lines of research reveal terminological sharing between the abstracts and the mission of the program and of the following research niches in the second line of research also linked to the mission: the study of linguistic variation, the investigation of linguistic beliefs and attitudes and onomastic studies. While the niches reveal links between the research produced in the period, the sharing of terms points to the legacy of the set of investigations for the development of the mission and purposes of the program and for future theses and dissertations to be developed in it.

  A articulação das teses e dissertações defendidas entre si e com relação à missão e propósitos do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras da Unioeste (PPGL) é um dos parâmetros de avaliação da pós-graduação brasileira utilizado pela CAPES. O objetivo deste artigo é evidenciar como as pesquisas defendidas de 2006 a 2022 nas áreas de Sociolinguística e de Onomástica estão relacionadas com a missão do PPGL e com as linhas de pesquisas “Linguagem: práticas linguísticas, culturais e de ensino” e “Estudo e descrição de fenômenos linguísticos, culturais e de diversidade”. Para alcançar esse objetivo, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura mediante a qual foram selecionados 28 resumos de teses e dissertações. Os termos presentes nos resumos foram analisados qualitativamente. Considerou-se como indício de vinculação as seguintes pistas textuais: uso de um mesmo termo ou conjunto de termos em diferentes resumos e /ou uso de termos usados nos textos de descrição de missão e objetivos do Programa e/ou na descrição das linhas e nos resumos. A análise terminológica empreendida evidenciou vinculação da maioria das pesquisas à missão do PPGL voltada ao desenvolvimento acadêmico, científico, tecnológico e cultural das regiões de abrangência da instituição, considerando fenômenos linguísticos, literários, culturais e de ensino e a ambas as linhas de pesquisas. A existência de recorrência de termos usados na descrição da missão e da descrição das linhas de pesquisa revelam compartilhamento terminológico entre os resumos e a missão do programa e dos seguintes nichos de pesquisa na segunda linha de pesquisa também vinculados à missão: o estudo da variação linguística, a investigação sobre crenças e atitudes linguísticas e os estudos onomásticos. Enquanto os nichos revelam vínculos entres as pesquisas produzidas no período, o compartilhamento de termos aponta para o legado do conjunto das investigações tanto para o desenvolvimento da missão e dos propósitos do programa quanto para as futuras teses e dissertações a serem desenvolvidas no mesmo.
