  • Resumen
    • It is with much pleasure, and a dash of apologia, that I offer Brian McGing a paper on one of his great dislikes, Alexander the Great. This paper examines the evidence for Greek awareness of Alexander’s campaigns and conquests during the 330s and 320s, tracing in particular the means by which information moved east-west during Alexander’s reign and the messages communicated by Alexander’s court. Focus is placed on the movement of people, spoils of war, the importance of literary and cultural links, as well as personal political connections.
