  En el presente artículo, el autor reflexiona sobre la contextualización del Evangelio.

  Critica la tendencia reduccionista del Evangelio que identifica evangelismo con misión y técnicas elaboradas como fórmulas de aplicación instantánea para producir “conversiones”. Alberto Roldán sostiene que toda evangelización debe darse dentro de un contexto histórico-social-cultural al cual responde, siguiendo los modelos de Jesús de Nazaret y de San Pablo cuyos mensajes se adecuaban al tipo de receptores a los que estaban dirigidos. El autor expone el mensaje inaugural de Jesús en Nazaret registrado en Lucas 4, cuyo centro es el Reino de Dios y promueve la justicia, expresa la gracia y es inclusiva. Toda verdadera evangelización debe tomar en cuenta la cultura actual caracterizada por la posmodernidad y la globalización. Los tres desafíos que la evangelización confronta hoy son: la crítica a los reduccionismos, la centralidad del Reino de Dios y tomar en cuenta la cultura en la cual se desarrolla, porque, en última instancia se trata de la “evangelización de la cultura.”

  In this article, the author reflects on the contextualization of the Gospel. He criticizes the reductionist tendency of the Gospel that identifies evangelism with mission and elaborate techniques as instant application formulas to produce “conversions”. Alberto Roldán maintains that all evangelization must take place within a historical-social-cultural context to which it responds, following the models of Jesus of Nazareth and Saint Paul whose messages were adapted to the type of recipients to whom they were addressed. The author exposes the inaugural message of Jesus in Nazareth recorded in Luke 4, whose center is the Kingdom of God and promotes justice, expresses grace and is inclusive. Roldán affirms that all true evangelization must take into account the current culture characterized by postmodernity and globalization. The three challenges that evangelization faces today are: criticism of reductionism, the centrality of the Kingdom of God and taking into account the culture in which it develops, because, ultimately, it is about the “evangelization of culture.”
