    Para seguir avanzando en cobertura del servicio de alcantarillado en el municipio, se ha elaborado el presente estudio y diseño para establecer las obras necesarias para contar con la infraestructura adecuada para prestar un servicio de alcantarillado con la calidad que la comunidad de Villa Rosario y Unión Paraíso en el municipio de Puerto Colombia (Atlántico) requieren.

    El diseño de la alternativa consiste en la instalación de tuberías secundarias en los barrios Villa Rosario y Unión Paraíso del municipio de Puerto Colombia, para lo cual se instalarán 1641 m de redes de 8 pulgadas de diámetro, incluyendo manijas y 129ml en tubería de PEAD de 160 mm PN 10 PE 100 Las obras propuestas entraran inmediatamente en funcionamiento, al quedar integradas al sistema de alcantarillado existente en el municipio. Las mencionadas obras traerán como consecuencia el aumento de la calidad de vida del Municipio, el saneamiento ambiental de la zona y la disminución de enfermedades relacionadas con las aguas negras, sobre todo en niños y en el adulto mayor que es la población más vulnerable.

    In order to continue advancing in the coverage of the sewerage service in the municipality, this study and design has been prepared to establish the necessary works to have the adequate infrastructure to provide a sewerage service with the quality that the community of Villa Rosario and Unión Paraíso in the municipality of Puerto Colombia (Atlántico) require.

    The design of the alternative consists of the installation of secondary pipes in the Villa Rosario and Unión Paraíso neighborhoods of the municipality of Puerto Colombia, for which 1,641 m of 8-inch diameter networks will be installed, including handles and 129 ml of PEAD pipe of 160mm PN10 PE100 The proposed works will come into operation immediately, as they will be integrated into the existing sewage system in the municipality. The aforementioned works will result in an increase in the quality of life of the Municipality, the environmental sanitation of the area and the reduction of diseases related to sewage, especially in children and the elderly, who are the most vulnerable population.
