This study examines the impact of gender upon the conflict behaviors of difficult subordinates. Specifically, we observed a significant gender‐induced interaction effect in the conflict behaviors of difficult subordinates in conflict with supervisors. These results are discussed in terms of the nature of the difficult personality.
