Resumen de Impacto de la vacunación completa contra COVID-19 sobre las tasas de letalidad y muertes por millón de habitantes en el mundo al 05/06/2022

  Después de elaborar cinco estudios individuales por continente, referentes al impacto de la vacunación (aplicación de dos dosis) sobre la tasa de letalidad (TL) y la tasa de muertes por millón de habitantes (TM/millón hab), al 05/06/2022, se presenta esta investigación que aborda las mismas relaciones en 191 naciones a nivel mundial. Para cumplir con este objetivo, se identificaron los datos de casos confirmados, muertes, TL y TM/millón hab del periodo indicado, a través de las plataformas virtuales identificadas como “datosmacro.com” y “Statista.com”, aunado a la cobertura porcentual de vacunación completa (%VC) contra la COVID-19 de los países estudiados. Con estos datos se calculó el Coeficientes de Correlación Lineal, al 95% de confianza, del %VC contra las TL y la TM/millón hab. Los datos resaltan los 10 países con mayor número de muertes en el mundo, comparando los valores “r” de correlación entre los cinco continentes; por último, se determinó que el valor mundial “r” de correlación lineal del %VC con la TL fue de -0,38 y con la TM/millón hab de 0,30, demostrando que a mayor vacunación menor letalidad por COVID-19.

  After elaborating five studies about the impact of complete vaccination-two doses-on lethality rates and deaths/million inhabitants, in the five continents of the world up to 06/05/2022, this research addressed the same relationships in 191 nations. To meet the objective, the confirmed cases up to 06/05/2022 of deaths, lethality, and deaths/million inhabitants, joined with complete vaccination coverage, were identified through the virtual platforms of datosmacro.com and Statista.com against COVID-19 in the 191 countries studied. Linear correlation coefficients were calculated at 95% confidence of complete vaccination against case fatality rates and deaths/million population. The data highlights the 10 countries with the highest number of deaths in the world comparing the “r” values of correlations between the five continents of vaccination against both variables. Finally, it was determined that the “r” value was -0.38 with case fatality rates and 0.30 with deaths/million inhabitants, showing that the higher the complete vaccination, the lower the lethality due to vaccination
