    En el clima de la pregària del matí del Diumenge de Rams, en la litúrgia hispànica es duia a terme el ritu de l'èfeta, mentre que l'entrega del símbol s'incloïa a la missa del mateix dia. Ambdós anaven acompanyats d'un sermó basat en dos textos de sant Agustí d'Hipona (354-430). En el present article s'analitzen els textos agustinians tal com els recullen les fonts litúrgiques hispàniques: l'antifonari de Lleó, el Liber ordinum i l'homiliari toledà. També s'estudien les referències a les celebracions catecumenals hispàniques que fa sant Ildefons de Toledo (607-667) en la seva obra sobre el baptisme.

    In the climate of the morning prayer of Palm Sunday, the ephphatha rite was carried out in the Hispanic liturgy, while the presentation of the symbol was included in that day's mass. Both were accompanied by a sermon based on two texts of St Augustine of Hippo (354-430). This paper studies the Augustinian texts as they appear in the Hispanic liturgical sources: the Leon antiphonary, the Liber ordinum, and the Toledohomiliarium. A study is also carried out on the references made to the Hispanic catechumenal celebrations by St Ildefonsus of Toledo (607-667) in his work on baptism.
