Resumen de Eficiencia de las rehabilitaciones parciales fijas adhesivas utilizando Biograft-g® para el remodelado del reborde alveolar

  Una de las alternativas para el desdentado parcial son las prótesis fijas denominadas adhesivas, que son más accesible para el paciente y requieren menor desgaste dental. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la estética y funcionabilidad de rehabilitaciones parciales fijas adhesivas, utilizando Biograft-G® para el remodelado del reborde alveolar. El universo estuvo constituido por pacientes que acudieron a la consulta de prótesis estomatológica, mientras la muestra fue de 30 pacientes necesitados de prótesis parcial fija e incremento del reborde alveolar, que emitieron consentimiento de participación y cumplían los restantes criterios de inclusión y exclusión. El tratamiento comenzó con cirugía y relleno de Biograft-G®. Pasados 6 meses de realizada la cirugía y recuperado el sitio óseo, se confeccionó la prótesis fija adhesiva. Las variables a estudiar fueron estética, altura y grosor del reborde residual y retención, estabilidad y estética de la prótesis. La eficiencia al tratamiento se evaluó promediando los valores de las variables mencionadas. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la eficiencia en cuanto a lograr estética, altura y grosor del reborde con el relleno de Biograft-G® fue de 94,3 %, mientras que el 5,7 % no logró mantener el grosor, aunque si la altura y estética. En cuanto a la eficiencia de la prótesis se observó que 28 de los 30 pacientes, tuvieron una prótesis de calidad. Se pudo concluir un logró éxito en la mayoría de los pacientes, en cuanto al remodelado alveolar con Biograft-G®, y a la calidad de la rehabilitación protésica, con el mínimo desgaste de las estructuras dentarias.Recibido: 11/06/2021Aprobado: 20/06/2021

  One of the alternatives for partial edentulousness are the fixed prostheses called adhesive, which are more accessible to the patient and require less dental wear. The objective of the study was to evaluate the aesthetics and functionality of adhesive fixed partial restorations, using Biograft-G® to reshape the alveolar ridge. The universe consisted of the patients who attended the dental prosthesis consultation, while the sample consisted of 30 patients in need of a fixed partial prosthesis and an increase in the alveolar ridge, who gave their consent to participate and fulfilled the remaining criteria of inclusion and exclusion. Treatment began with surgery and Biograft-G® filler. Six months after surgery and the bone bed recovered, the adhesive fixed prosthesis was performed. The variables to be studied were aesthetics, height and thickness of the residual ridge and retention, stability and aesthetics of the prosthesis. The efficiency of the treatment was evaluated by averaging the values of the mentioned variables. The results obtained show that the efficiency in terms of achieving aesthetics, height and thickness of the flange with the Biograft-G® filling was 94.3%, while 5.7% did not manage to maintain the thickness, although the height and aesthetics. Regarding the effectiveness of the prosthesis, it was observed that 28 of the 30 patients had a quality prosthesis. It was possible to conclude a success in most of the patients, in terms of alveolar remodeling with Biograft-G®, and the quality of the prosthetic rehabilitation, with minimal wear of the dental structures.
