Resumen de Aproximación al patrimonio devocional y artístico de la desaparecida ermita de la Vera Cruz de Gibraltar (I)

  A partir de la documentación procedente del Archivo Histórico Diocesano de Cádiz y de algunas noticias historiográficas, fundamentalmente la descripción que nos brinda Pedro Cubero Sebastián en 1699, pretendemos aproximarnos al mobiliario artístico y cultual que albergó la ermita de la Vera Cruz de Gibraltar durante los siglos xvi y xvii y acotamos el tramo cronológico en que tuvo origen la cofradía del mismo nombre.

  Based on the documentation from the Diocesan Historical Archive of Cádiz and some historiographical information, mainly the description provided by Pedro Cubero Sebastián in 1699, we attempt to approach the artistic and cultic furnishings housed in the Vera Cruz shrine in Gibraltar during the 16th and 17th centuries and we delimit the chronological period in which the cofradía (brotherhood) of the same name originated.
