    En este artículo se abordan aspectos concernientes al uso, el significado y los componentes físicos (o la materialidad) de la casa santafereña durante las tres primeras décadas del siglo XIX. Lo anterior, en pro de mostrar los indicios del confort, la domesticidad y la intimidad dentro de esta vivienda. Por ser parte de la casa, también se presentan en el artículo algunas consideraciones sobre el interior y el uso de las tiendas, las cuales constituían otro tipo de habitación.

    The paper deals with aspects concerning to the use, the meaning and the physical parts of the House of Santa Fe during the first three decades of the 19 th century. The previous information contributes pro showing the first signs of the comfort, the domesticity and the intimacy inside the House. Because they are part of the House, also in the paper are presented some considerations about the interior and the use of the Stores, which constituted another type of housing.
