    Los intercambios simbólicos públicos y privados están estrechamente ligados entre sí e interactúan mutuamente. El autor pone en valor el papel de las cortesías sociales, los símbolos políticos y las ceremonias y ritos como factores de sociabilidad e integración territorial. Los sucesivos gobiernos del Partido Popular y del PSOE han sido incapaces de promover en la actual etapa de la Monarquía parlamentaria una estrategia identitaria integradora mínimamente eficaz y una respuesta cultural y metapolítica conjunta que refuerce el rol del Estado y sus liturgias frente al repertorio mítico separatista. El artículo examina los principales incumplimientos normativos y carencias que afectan a los símbolos políticos y al ceremonial del Reino de España.

    Public and private symbolic exchanges are closely linked to each other and interact with each other. The author values the role of social courtesies, political symbols and ceremonies and rituals as factors of sociability and territorial integration. The successive governments of the Popular Party and the PSOE have been unable to promote in the current stage of the parliamentary Monarchy, a minimally effective integrating identity strategy and a joint cultural and metapolitical response that reinforces the role of the State and its liturgies against the separatist mythical repertoire. The article examines the main regulatory breaches and shortcomings that affect the political and ceremonial symbols of the Kingdom of Spain.
